Biography
Engdahl oversees the editing, design, and production of EPI’s research products and marketing materials, ensuring that books, reports, brochures, charts, and other print and online documents communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to intended audiences. Prior to joining EPI in 2011, Engdahl ran a consulting business providing writing, editing, and project management services to a wide range of clients, including the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Brookings Institution, Fannie Mae Foundation, Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University, National Academy of Public Administration, Urban Institute, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Published works include From Despair to Hope, a book on public housing she coedited with former HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros. A freelance journalist, Engdahl’s articles have appeared in the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, and many other publications.
