Tanya Goldman is a Fellow at Workshop.
Tanya brings over 15 years of experience litigating, advocating, and working in federal government to advance gender and economic justice for workers.
Tanya served in the Biden-Harris Administration as Senior Counselor to the Secretary of Labor and as Acting Assistant Secretary for Policy at the U.S. Department of Labor. She served in leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Labor in both the Biden and Obama administrations. Her time in federal government also included prosecuting violations of federal civil rights laws at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Tanya also worked at the Center for Law and Social Policy, where she focused on policy solutions to improve job quality for workers and strengthen worker protections. Tanya has taught at Georgetown Law and Tulane University Law School. She received her B.A. from Stanford University and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
