Meredith Slopen is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the CUNY Graduate Center’s Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality. Building on her career at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, her scholarship focuses on the role of workplace and labor policies at critical junctures in the lifecourse.

She holds an Hon. B.A. from the University of Toronto, MSW from Columbia University, and received her Ph.D. in Social Policy and Policy Analysis from Columbia University in 2023.
