Eduard Nilaj is a data science research associate with the Jain Family Institute’s Higher Education Finance team. Concurrently, he is pursuing a PhD in Economics at the New School for Social Research. Nilaj has authored a range of research reports that provide in-depth analysis and visualizations of the student debt crisis across the United States. His research focuses on the intricate relationships between student loan debt and various factors such as demographic attributes, characteristics of higher education institutions, and labor market dynamics. In exploring the evolution of these factors over the past decade, Nilaj’s work provides a unique lens through which to view the current state of student debt in America.
