August 28 Conference Call on Poverty, Income, Health Data

On Tuesday, August 28, new Census Bureau figures for 2006 on poverty, income, and health insurance coverage will be released. But what will the data mean for America’s low and middle-income families?

At 1:00 p.m. (ET), the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and the Economic Policy Institute will hold a joint conference call briefing to provide a through analysis of these revealing numbers for journalists nationwide. The panel of experts from both groups will discuss the implications of the data that will be released that morning.
