News from EPI Media Advisory: Press call at 11 a.m. Central: Right-to-Work would hurt workers in Missouri

Today at 11:00 a.m. Central/ 12:00 p.m. Eastern, EPI Director of Policy Heidi Shierholz will join a press call discussing how right-to-work will hurt working people in Missouri, if passed by voters this August. Shierholz will explain her findings from a recent EPI report comparing wage data between Missouri and its neighboring states that have passed right-to-work legislation, which found that right-to-work laws continue to hurt working families by keeping their wages low. Shierholz will be joined by AFL-CIO Secretary Treasurer Liz Schuler, Kansas City CLC President Duke Dujakovich, CWA 6360 Vice President Jeff Hayes, and Pipefitters 533 member Quiema Spencer.
