News from EPI EPI President Thea Lee to debate globalization at the Aspen Ideas Festival

On Thursday, June 28th, EPI President Thea Lee will argue in favor of the motion “globalization has undermined America’s working class” as part of the Intelligence Squared debate series, at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Aspen, Colorado. Joining Lee arguing in favor will be Jared Bernstein of the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities; Jason Furman, Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute and former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers and James Manyika, Chairman and Director of the McKinsey Global Institute will argue against the motion.

Lee will be available for interviews on this topic, in Aspen and via phone, on Thursday.
