The Federal Policy Watch team of attorneys, economists, and analysts exists to serve the needs of busy people concerned about the fate of workers in America under the second Trump administration.
We track the actions of this administration, Congress, courts, and unelected, unofficial “advisers,” so you don’t have to.
To help you get the most out of this service, we want to explain our approach because it’s a bit different from our other publications.
→ Brief. Federal Policy Watch posts are shorter than other EPI content, so you can stay informed and keep moving.
→ On the record. Federal Policy Watch posts actions that can be substantiated. Each post has links to the original action, official comment, or documented news source. This administration thrives on sowing mistrust and misinformation. We counter that by covering it with urgency and accuracy, ensuring the information you get is supported by facts.
→ Up-to-date. When the situation changes on an alert that we’ve sent out, we update it in place. We add a timeline at the top of the post, so you can see the ticktock of Trump administration actions, the result or roadblocks along the way, and our coverage of it.
→ Accessible . Federal Policy Watch is available 24-7 at epi.org/policywatch, AND we come to you (near) daily in your inbox.
If you find Federal Policy Watch helpful, subscribe for updates, share it with other pro-worker folks who love democracy, and support us with a donation.
