Biography
Nick Kauzlarich (he/him) joined the Economic Policy Institute in 2019. As the media relations and digital director, he serves as a liaison between EPI and the press, highlighting EPI’s research through both earned and social media.
Before joining EPI, Kauzlarich worked at BerlinRosen, a progressive public relations firm, where he worked with advocacy groups to generate media coverage around economic security, corporate accountability, and paid leave. Prior to that, Kauzlarich gained experience in digital and advocacy communications at the U.S. Public Interest Research Group to build support for protecting voting rights and passing campaign finance reform. A central Illinois native, Nick is a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan and can often be found hiking in the mountains, exploring D.C., or spending too much time on Twitter.
