Malveaux is president emerita of Bennett College, where she served as the 15th president. She has worked as an economist, author, and commentator. and is the founder of Last Word Productions. Currently the president and founder of Economic Education in Washington, D.C., her newest book, Are we Better off? Race, Obama & Public Policy, will be released in 2015. She is an outspoken activist for issues surrounding race, culture, gender, and their economic impacts.
