What does construction have to do with it?

The nation’s high unemployment is incorrectly and too frequently attributed to the housing bubble bursting and the need to shift unemployed construction workers into new fields, which takes time and training. Today’s Snapshot shows that construction-sector unemployment is responsible for a trivial portion of the overall rise in unemployment between 2007 and 2011 and is not what prevents unemployment from falling.
