Kentucky River Decision Expected Tuesday

The National Labor Relations Board will issue opinions Tuesday to implement the U.S. Supreme Court’s Kentucky River decision — a move that could exclude up to 8 million workers from rights and labor law protections. Ross Eisenbrey, the vice president of the Economic Policy Institute, will be available for reporters tomorrow who are covering the board’s decisions.

Eisenbrey authored two recent policy memos, which outline how the board’s expected move to broaden the definition of “supervisor” under the National Labor Relations Act will exclude millions of workers from the law’s protections.

For interviews and reaction to the board’s decisions, please contact EPI’s Communications department at (202) 775-8810 or news@epi.org .
