Forty prominent economists, including three Nobel laureates, have signed onto an EPI-sponsored statement in favor of the Employee Free Choice Act. Citing growing income inequality and workers’ need for more bargaining power to counter national and global trends, they said the labor law reform is essential for rebuilding a solid middle class.
