Job growth slowdown explained
In today’s Snapshot, EPI senior economist Jared Bernstein explains why job creation has slowed over the past few months. As GDP growth has decelerated to a rate just slightly higher than productivity, employers are less likely to add workers to meet consumers’ and investors’ demands for goods and services.
