More than one-third of all workers—38%—have no paid sick days. When these workers get sick, they are either forced to go to work, or stay home without pay and risk losing their job. As today’s Snapshot illustrates, workers at the top of the wage scale are more than four times as likely to have sick days as workers at the bottom of the wage scale.
