News from EPI EPI Economists to Discuss New Census Data on Income, Poverty and Health Insurance

On Wednesday, September 16 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern, the Economic Policy Institute will hold a media teleconference on the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2014 data on income, poverty, and health insurance. EPI President Lawrence Mishel and economists Elise Gould and Valerie Wilson will discuss key trends in incomes and wages and assess what the new data tells us about the state of the labor market and its recovery from the Great Repression. EPI will also release a series of analyses after the Census report is issued, including a “By the Numbers” guide and a look at income and wage trends by race and ethnicity.
