A round-up of analysis on today’s census data release on income, poverty, and health insurance

According to a report released today by the U.S. Census Bureau, the number of uninsured Americans under age 65 rose from 48.3 million in 2009 to 49.1 million in 2010.  When including those 65 and older, the number reached 49.9 million in 2010.  EPI Director of Health Policy Research Elise Gould analyzes the health insurance data in 2010 marks another year of decline for employer-sponsored health insurance coverage.
