EPI shipping and handling policy
EPI charges $4.00 for shipping per order for the first publication
purchased, and an additional $0.50 for each additional publication
within the same order.
* EPI ships via UPS Ground shipping service within the United
States. International shipments are handled by UPS International
service.
* Please note that UPS does not deliver to P.O boxes.
* International shipping rates vary depending on country of
shipment. Contact our Publications Department at
publications@epi.org or (202) 331-5510 to inquire about
international shipping options and rates.
* Please allow 5-7 business days for delivery of your order. We can
arrange for faster delivery by using expedited shipping services at
the buyer's request. Contact EPI's publications department for
alternative shipping arrangements.

EPI payment policy
* EPI requires prepayment for all orders.
* Credit cards are accepted, including Visa, MasterCard, and
American Express.
* Checks and money orders are accepted; cash is accepted only for
walk-in sales.
* EPI reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.
* A 20% discount is extended to repeat institutional buyers
(libraries and bookstores only) when more than one copy of a
publication is purchased.
Exam/Class adoption copy policy
For examination copies of books to be considered for college-level
courses, please submit requests on letterhead to:

Please include in your letter information about the course title
and estimated number of students enrolled in the course.
EPI will charge $4 for shipping of all examination copies of
paperback books and studies. When a book is ordered for a class,
EPI will provide professors with one desk copy free of charge.
EPI accepts credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express),
checks, and money orders. For more information, email us at

Copyrights and Permissions policy
When requesting permission to photocopy or reprint any EPI
publications, please include the following information in your
letter: the title of the publication, author, ISBN, page number(s)
to be copied of reprinted, number of copies you intend to make, and
a short overview of your project.

Requesting a Review Copy
If you are interested in reviewing EPI publications for your
journal, magazine, newspaper, or newsletter, please send your

We would be grateful if you considered providing us with two copies
of any book reviews or publication notices you may publish.
Returns Policy
You may return your order within sixty (60) days of purchase in its
original condition. The full refund will only be given for
publications in saleable condition. Customers are responsible for
shipping charges, unless the return is a result of our error.
Please include in your return package a copy of the invoice or a
packing slip and indicate the reason for your return on the back of
the invoice/slip. All returns should be shipped to the following
