Joseph Stiglitz with Lawrence Mishel Video, audio, PowerPoint presentations, and a transcript [PDF] are now available online for the Agenda for Shared Prosperity’s fourth event, which took place at EPI on April 12. Nobel-Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz was the keynote speaker, presenting an overview of the event’s theme, “Beyond Balanced Budget Mania.” Stiglitz’s presentation was followed by a panel discussion that included Henry Aaron (on chronic deficits), Joan Lombardi (on investing in early childhood development), and Max Sawicky (on why public investment matters). For more details regarding the panelists and their presentations, view the invitation to this event.
