Joseph Stiglitz with Lawrence Mishel Video, audio, PowerPoint presentations, and a transcript [PDF] are now available online for the Agenda for Shared Prosperity’s fourth event, which took place at EPI on April 12. Nobel-Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz was the keynote speaker, presenting an overview of the event’s theme, “Beyond Balanced Budget Mania.” Stiglitz’s presentation was followed by a panel discussion that included Henry Aaron (on chronic deficits), Joan Lombardi (on investing in early childhood development), and Max Sawicky (on why public investment matters).
