EPI’s Rothstein Appeared at the Schomburg Center for Black Culture to Discuss Concentrated Poverty

EPI’s Richard Rothstein appeared at the Schomburg Center for Black Culture, a division of the New York Public Library, in New York City on June 3, 2014

Rothstein spoke about concentrated poverty with Patrick Sharkey of New York University and Ta-Nehisi Coates, National correspondent at The Atlantic.

Mr. Rothstein appears at 18:07, followed by a discussion with Mr. Coates and Professor Sharkey, moderated by journalist and author Farai Chideya.

The Sidney Hillman Foundation asked Rothstein to prepare a summary of his research, which the Foundation published as a pamphlet distributed at the Schomburg Center event.
