New research on voter attitudes will be presented by Celinda Lake, President of Lake Research Partners.  This research shatters the conventional wisdom on attitudes about the critical role for enforcement of laws and regulations in a number of areas of American life, and about the support for federal regulatory agencies.  Voters of all partisan stripes, and with near unanimity, believe there should be increased enforcement of laws and regulations in the U.S.  These findings will likely stun a good number of “opinion-makers” who believe the criticism of these agencies has permeated public attitudes.

There will also be a discussion to explore how these important findings can impact the work of the progressive community on health, safety, environmental, and financial regulation and enforcement.
