A Debate On German Labor Market Reforms and their Impact on Workers

In 2003, the German government instituted labor market reforms by removing protections cherished by workers and criticized by employers. In April 2003, 500,000 workers demonstrated against the reforms. This debate examined the impact of those reforms on the lives of working families.
