Disparities in life span reflect those in income

The impact of rising income inequality is now evident in the disparities in life expectancy between the top and bottom socioeconomic groups.  In today’s Snapshot, economist Elise Gould charts changes in the life expectancy gap over time, illustrating how the socioeconomic top dogs are pulling away from the pack faster in recent years.
