Is NAFTA to blame for PA workers’ troubles?

Pennsylvania’s hotly contested presidential primary has garnered attention to the plight of that state’s workers and the role that NAFTA plays in the dramatic loss of good manufacturing jobs over the last decade. In a blog post for the New York Times, EPI international economist Robert Scott offers some insight into the impact that globalization and trade growth had on the state since NAFTA and other trade deals were implemented.
